Submitting, leaving the form open and saving ... dont want a "Save As"

I'll try to clarify that Subject line...  We have a highly customized expense form that can be submitted to a document library before a workflow kicks off to the manager.  sometimes the form will be submitted and opened later for editing and final submittal, but sometimes a user will enter all the data, submit the form to the library and them submit to the manager.

THe problem occurs in forms where the user submits to the document library, but keeps the form open and then wants to agree to the attestation statement and then save changes.  If the user keeps the form open after submitting to the document library and they save,  a SAVE AS dialog comes up vs. a direct save to the document library.

Also, the workflow is kicked off when the user signs the attestation and clicks save.

    Thoughts?

I ended up forcing the form to close and reworking the workflow... Thanks!

i always used to run into similar issues, what i found out to be best was, creating your own custom save, save as buttons instead of using the ones given on the ribbon by infopath. that way i get full control over what action the user is allowed to do
