Hi,

 I created an Infopath 2007 form and published it to SharePoint 2007 as content type. Now when I create a new form and submit the form it gets created fine. But when I edit the form, instead of just updating the form data, a new form is getting created. I am using some logic to name the form with some text + datetime. How can I resolve this and make the form to update?

well your naming convention is causing you problem, every time you submit the form a new copy gets generated.

have a rule at open and save. Rule will be like

if name_field is blank

name_field = text + datetime

and in the submit connection use name_field as the name
