Submitting to Forms library error - temperary ID duplication?

    Hi everyone,

Our users experienced this issue recently and I was wondering if anyone has encountered this before.  We have a forms library where a group of users create new files based off a form template and the files are saved in the library.  When the form is saved, it pulls the ID of the file from the library, increases the value by 1(as seen here - http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/yanivl/archive/2008/01/09/auto-increment-for-infopath-repeating-tables-sections.aspx) and uses that as the file name.  Also, the file can be overwritten since users are going back in and modifying the data within the form.

The issue the users experienced was that there were numerous employees hitting "new" to open a new form template to submit at the same time.  When they were submitting the form, they received the following error:

Form submission failed. (User: TBGL\reis.pa, Form Name: Call Center Log, IP: , Request: http://[servername]/_layouts/Postback.FormServer.aspx, Form ID: urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:infopath:Call-Center-Log:-myXSD-2009-04-27T18-31-42, Type: DataAdapterException, Exception Message: A value in the form may be used to specify the file name. If you know the value in the form that specifies the file name, revise it and try again. Otherwise, contact the author of the form template.)

Our best guess was that due to the increased usage, the users were experiencing this error.  However, we'd like to update our template so this issue doesn't happen again.  Can anyone shed any light on why this was happening?

    Thanks,
    Matt

Some more information from the users - user1 would open a new form, and user 2 would open a new form at the same time (maybe a few seconds delay).  User 1 would save the form to the library, then user2 would save their form, and user2s form would overwrite the form submitted by user1.  It seemed that since the forms were opened at almost the same time, they both had the same temperary IDs assigned to them.  This never has happened in the past, but there was an unusually high volume of users creating and submitting forms on this day.
