Make some of the form fields readonly after submit

Hi,I had a infopath form which i am submitting to a webservice.Once,i submit it to webservice,i need to make some fields readonly.Because,i don;t want to give user an option to submit the same form with different data. But,i am not seeing any option to do such things if i make the button i am using as submit if i bind it to submit options.

    Please suggest me.Thanks.

set a field (say form_submitted) to true when you submit the form, and have conditional formatting on the fields you want to be read only, making them readonly if the value of the field form_submitted = true.

Is there a better way to do this (maybe in SharePoint) considering the case where one's form has 200+ fields? I don't want to set up conditional formatting on every single field since it would take ages.

You can set an entire view to read only - so you could have a read only view you switch to if the form has been submitted.

Thank you Hilary. I did just find that as a possible workaround. What if additionally one wanted to allow writing to the form for users in a certain group after submittal, and say the person in the "submitted by" column? Would that be possible as well?

Well - your form load rules could change to your new read only view if the username is not equal to the submitted by field. Then it would open in the normal view for the submitter, read only view for everyone else...
