I work in an environment where managed code is not allowed. I am looking for a solution for the cascading dropdown issue. I had an idea to use CAML to help resolve this, but I am not very familiar with it. What I would like to do is have the user select a value from dropdown box A. I would then use a rule to query a data connection and use CAML to retrieve the filtered data. Is it possible to reference an Infopath field in the where clause for the CAML query? Is there a better solution to accomplish this? Forgot to mention, browser based form.
