Hi,

I have problem with repeating sections and data connections. I'm getting the same values to all repeating sections.

More detailed: I have repeating section A which contain bunch of standard controls. To one control I enter the number X and the rest of the controls are populated by database connection based on that number. Now, when I open new section of this repeating section and enter new number Y. Other fields get populated with the same values as in the first section (by number X).

Please help me! Why do I receive always the same values as in the first section? How can I get other sections populated with different values?

Please tell me if my problem description is inaccurate or confusing. I can try to do it again.

Hi -- how are you populating the other fields? Rules? If you are using rules, are they set on a field that is in the repeating group? What version of InfoPath are you using? 2003 or 2007? If I recall correctly, IP 2003 didn't automatically insert current() when you create rules, and you have to add that yourself to get the correct filter. What do your rules look like that you are using to set your values?

Thanks for your answer but I already managed to figure this out. I'm using IP2003 and I counted the number of repeating section within []-symbols and it works.
