Hi,

 I have a form with a repeating section.  In the section is text box for writing notes.  The sponser of this form would like to allow for them to take notes and then for someone else to open the form and if there is a need to click on "insert item" to open another notes section.

 This is not a problem, but I'm worried that actor 2 may delete or modify the first note, so I'm trying to find a way that I can lock each section as the form is submitted, thus the notes written in by the first person could not be overwritten by the second person.

for the modification part. insert a hidden text box into the section, and set its default value to  username(), on the text box section (on which notes are written) make it readonly using conditional formatting if the logged in user != hidden text box value
