How to Remove unwanted XML Namespaces

    Hello

I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the unwanted XML Namespaces from the InfoPath generated XML form?

I have a form that has evolved over time and used external XSD schemas with different namespaces, now that the form is stable we want to integrate the XML form with SQL Server, however the XML produced by the InfoPath form has two historical namespaces in it that is causing us problems.  I am sure they are not referenced in the XSD.

    e.g. xmlns:ns1="oldnamespace" xmlns:ns2="usednamespace"

Where does InfoPath get the namespaces from?

    Cheers

    Alan

save your template as source files, then edit the manifest.xsf, there you will find entries for these namespaces, remove the extra namespaces and publish the form again.
