Combine 2 fields from secondary data source

    Hi all,

Is it possible to populate a dropdownlist (or at least the display name of it) with 2 combined fields from a database? I have a table with a field for firstname and a field for lastname, and the displayname of the dropdownlist lets me only choose one of both...

    Thanks!

    Hi freetn,
I am not sure if we can populate a dropdown list by combining two fields.

But As you said you are getting data from the database, you can change your SQL query that gets the data from the database to combine the two fields.
Your query can be "select (lastname+firstname as name) from nametable".
And you can map this field to your dropdown list control.
