We have an InfoPath template that obtains a vehicle lease rate from an employee list database.  When an employee obtains a new vehicle we have to change the lease rate to reflect the new lease cost.   When we update the database lease rate, all existing mileage reports, stored in a SharePoint library from prior months and years, automatically update to reflect the new lease rate.   We want old reports to retain the original lease rates, while subsequent reports reflect the new lease rate.   How do we retain the original calcullated results on old filed mileage reports.

in infopath template create a field say leaseRate2 and set it to recieve its value from the data connection (i.e. the original lease rate) . and in the properties of leaseRate2 uncheck update this value when the result of the formula is recalculated
