I have an Infopath form that I published on our Intranet. I put an icon on the desktop to launch the form using http://Junk/abc/OT.xsn instead of using the UNC path. For some reason we are receiving a error to login to our Intranet with another error that says "Contacting the server for information". If I click cancel the form opens and behaves perfectly. Its very confusing to have this error message show for our users. Do you have any ideas of how I can stop this from happening?
