How can i create a browser enabled form that receive and submit data to Sql Server

    Hello Everyone,

My need is to create a browser enabled form that can retrieve and submit data to sql server 2008. I rad from diffrent articles that I need to use webservices to achieve this functionality.

Can any one guide me to know:

    1. Tha complete workflow (where to start, what will be the first step, then how to implement all other steps, what is pre-requisites etc)

    2. How can I find out the list of web services available including UDDI server details.

any useful Link will also be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Nipendra,

You are correct with InfoPath Form Services you need to use a web service to submit data to SQL.

Qdabra has built a generic web service that lets you do this very easily, we have a free developer trial edition, you can check out the details here:

Documentation to use DBXL is located here: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/docs/DBXL23.aspx

If by 'conventional' you mean point and click without paying for a tool, then it is unlikely, unless you find something on codeplex, sourceforge or in other open source repositories. Please drop a line if you do.
