    Button Properties - Conditional Formatting

    I have a button which requires conditional formatting.

    There are three user fields on the form

    1.       The original creator

    2.       The sales rep

    3.       The sales manager

    Only the rep and manager are able to edit the form after it has been created.  I have put some conditional formatting on the button which says

    If             the person logged in      is not equal         the sales rep      OR
    If             the person logged in      is not equal         the sales manager

    Hide this control

    If I am logged in as the sales rep the manager test fails and vice-versa and I do understand why.

    How do I work around this?

    Just replace your OR with AND

    No, that will not either.  This is my conditions

    If             the person logged in      is not equal         the sales rep      OR
    If             the person logged in      is not equal         the sales manager

    Hide this control

    If I have the following

    Person Logged In = Fred
      Sales Rep = Fred
      Sales Manager = George

    The code is then

    If             fred      is not equal         fred      OR
    If             fred      is not equal         george

    Hide this control

    What I want is

    If fred = fred - do nothing
    If fred = george - hide the control

    I hope this makes sense

     Qazi Anis is right.  Just change the OR to AND and you're all set.

    taking your example

    if fed != fred AND

    fred != george

    hide the control.

    since this condition will fail fred will see the button. If you still have queries feel free to ask. but first give it a try.
