    drop-down list box question

My form is too long. It has around 30 sections, each section is displaying some data. To make the form shorter, i am trying to list the sections into drop-down box and display the selected section only. But, how to do it? In the rules properties, I did not find any action to display the selected section only. Please suggest.

You can accomplish this via Conditional Formatting. Simply establish a condition and check the checkbox for "Hide this section". For example, the dropdown has 6 options, and the form has 6 sections. If a user selects option 1 in the dropdown, all sections are hidden except section 1. You'll be creating Conditional formatting for each of the sections and each of the conditions. Good luck!

Hello Vikas, I have attached a sample xsn with a dropdown and 3 sections. Take a look at the properties of each of the sections, click on the display tab then "Conditional Formatting"

Hope this is what you are looking for.

    take care
