Time Difference Calculations

I am sure this is a question that gets asked alot (at least I think)it would be) however I am just not finding the answer that I need.

How can I create a field that will calculate the difference between two times. Common example, StartTime - StopTime = the difference.

Looking at the Time Card detail form sample that came with infopath, I am not figuring out how it was done it the columns.

You can look at the code in the Timecard sample
1. Tools -> Programming ->Microsoft Script Editor
2. Search for startTime::OnAfterChange
3. The updateTotals() is called to calculate the value.
