Sometimes you need cascading dropdown boxes with predefined values, ofcourse it would be great to add this to a database or link it to a webservice, but it is not always possible.

A solution to this is to use Resources in InfoPath

Any other solutions to reach the same, without webservices or SharePoint Lists?

Thanks Frederik for the link,

InfoPathDev also has probably 20 blogs on this topic. Greg did a lot of blogs several years ago that deal with cascading dropdowns. Were you not able to find those?

For example:

We even have blogs for implementing cascading dropdowns in Forms Server:

These blogs are more detailed than yours. Please don't ignore search when posting here. We work hard to cover the bases and we are not here just to serve as a stomping ground to link to other people's blogs. Anyway, thanks for being part of the community.

Patrick,,

The main idea of the post was to give an example of how to use Resource files, not Cascading Dropdowns.
Also the post was to help someone out (as stated in the atricle)

I will add your links you gave me about Cascading Dropdows to my post about Cascading Dropdowns, I think it will be a better place
