    Query and compare a list

I have 600 Social Security Numbers, Last Name, First Name, addresses, and thier childrens names in a SharePoint list. On a InfoPath form I want to be able to type a Social Security Number and a Last name. If both the Social Security Number and the Last name is in the list on the same row, I want the other information (address and thier children names) on that row to populate the form.

InfoPath 2007 allows you to query Sharepoint and obtain the entire list. Once that data "lives" in your form as a secondary data source, you can filter it as needed.

If you wish to filter on the server (for better performance) you'll need to write your own web service, or purchase one such as Qdabra's. Video demo here.
