Use submit button to save xml and export pdf to the same location

Hope there is someone who can help this newbie to infopath custom code writing.

I want to use the default Submit button to
    a)  open a SAVE AS dialog box so the user can naviagate to a specific folder
    b)  store the folder location as defined by user in step a  and then
    c) export the form to a pdf and drop in the same folder
    d) close the form

I know I have to write custom code. And I have been trying to write something in VSTA (vb).

I have looked everywhere online and nothing is working.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Dev Ann

You will need to mark your form as full trust to programmatically save and print. Use the OnSaveAs event to capture the save and programmatically call the Print method in the object model to print. Before doing that you'll want to select a PDF printer and specify where to send it (print properties, I'm guessing). All of this can be done with a full trust form and code, but it's not easy and certainly not something that someone is going to show you how to do in a forum post.

    Cheers!
