Problems with submit to email button. (Fixed)

I am creating a service request form to incorporate all our service requests in our business. The problem I am having is that I have a submit button for the user that fills out the form and a copy of the form is sent to that persons manager for the service approval. Then the manager can approve or deny the document and attach a certificate and hit the appropriate approve or deny button. These buttons will either send the approved document to the department for service or to the user if it is denied. In total I have three buttons. One for the user, one for approval, and one for denial. The problem I am having is that when I change the settings on one of the buttons it affects the other two. Is there a way to make each button different from each other so that when one of them it selected, it sends email to the appropriate personel. Please help. Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
I do not fully understand when you say that "I change the settings on one of the buttons it affects the other two". In what way does it affect the other buttons? you mean if you change the Dataconnection? If so you can have different dataconnections for each one of the buttons.

Well I thought that this was the case when you create buttons. I have created three different datasources for all three buttons. When you change one of the butttons to one of the datasources, the other two is changed as well. Sounds crazy but its true. I am under the assumption that you can only have one submit button but I really need to have more than one for the type of form I am trying to create.

When you say you have created three different datasources -> do you mean you have created three DataConnections? The way i would handle the scenario you have is to
    1. Create 3 Submit DataConnections (email) via Tools -> dataConnections
    2. Then for each button -> add a rule that does a submit using its own dataconnection.

Thank you. The three submit buttons work beautifully. Thank you for your time. I appreciate it! :)
