I'm completely confused so I hope someone can help by re-explaining in different terms because I'm just not understanding what I'm looking for.
I have a form template that I've been tweaking periodically with small changes since it went into production. It's pretty much a straight-forward design, browser enabled, no repeating tables, using code behind for some buttons that updates a few fields based on what button they selected and such, and the submit is also in there as code. There's a workflow on the SP library that will update the Form's fields every so often. This WF has been in place for at least 3 months working as expected and has updated other forms in the library about the same time frame.
On this one form (of maybe 50 that has gone in the last 3 weeks), I get 2 pop-up boxes when trying to open it:
Warning - This form is digitally signed, but was created with an older version of theh form template. This form will be upgraded to work with the new template, but this may remove its signatures. Do you still want to open? I click Continue to resume filling out the form.
Critical Error - Schema validation found non-datatype errors. I've tried both Start Over and Close and they both close the form.
I took an offline copy of the form and opened it in IP and on the page that has maybe 7 sections that can be signed, the first block has "There is a problem with this signature" in red letters, but the form has been opened at least one other time just fine since the section was signed, so I'm not sure that it's really the signature with the problem.
Now everything I've read that talks about this error refers to repeating tables and updating child fields. I have no repeating tables in this template, never have. So, how can I tell if it's trying to update something, and where it all started? I haven't been able to replicate the issue so I don't know if perhaps at some point I had an error in my code and have since fixed it with a newer template or what. I just don't know what I'm looking for.
Any thoughts?
Thanks...
