I have an IP form which routes via email (Outlook 2007) for approvals then submits to a MOSS library. All this has worked seamlessly in a Terminal Server (Server2003) setting. I have installed and am testing Server 2008 installation as a Terminal Server and when I connect as a client, I can fill out the form fine (because it is opened in IP), route via email for approval but when the email is opened the form "buttons" are not active in the body text of the message. I can open the form from the attachment(which opens IP) and it is fine. I have been able to generate this error which might hold a clue:
...Infopath is set to be the e-mail editor. However, Infopath is unavailable, not installed or a different version from Outlook. The InfoPath editor will be turned off, and the Outlook email editor will be used instead. Try to repair the InfoPath installation, and then turn on InfoPath as the email editor again.
Environment: Server 2008, Office 2007, IE 8.0
Things I have checked/tried: The form is using IP 2007, but was saved in IP 2003 file format. I tried resaving it in IP 2007 format. Double checked OL 2007 to make sure "Enable infopath email forms" is selected. Made sure "Enable IP email form functionality for this form template" is selected in Form Options".
Any suggestions are appreciated.
