InfoPath Dev

We are using a product from FormSoft called FormFinder to serve up InfoPath forms through a browser. I have some forms that show the following error message when they are opened.

"This form was created with a new version of the form template. InfoPath cannot find the new version. Do you want to open with the older version?" If I click yes the form opens.

I've checked that any versions and xml name spaces named in the template.xml match the what is in the manifest. The forms also have jscript files and I've verified versions and name spaces match the template.xml file. I've tried clearing the InfoPath cache but that doesn't help. As mentioned above, the problem does not occur with all forms.

Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this message to appear?

Does the error come up when opening the forms in InfoPath or only when opening via the 3rd party tool?

What is the version number (1.0.0.0) of the xmls vs. the version number of the InfoPath form?

I  have the form published to web folder. If I open the form through our local intranet I do not get the error. The error only comes up when opening the form with the 3rd party tool. If I click the No option on the error message, I get an error saying "The index is out of bounds. Invalid index?

The version number of the form is 1.0.0.27.

The solution version in the template.xml file is 1.0.0.27. The solution version in the manifest.xsf in 1.0.0.27.

I have experienced this as well.  It seems anytime a form opens with an error that the index out bounds error occurs when shutting the form.  We are also using the Formsoft tool however it can easily be reproduced outside of Formfinder.  Appears to be a Microsoft bug.
