Namespace Prefix (!Can they be different detween environments)

    Hi All,

I have designed some infopath form which queries the web services and get the result. And I reference those query fields and re execute the webservice again. But I see that there are some namespace prefix ns1, ns2 and ns4 some ns5. I know these will go with the infopath template and might not cause problems until I change the data connections.

Am I assuming right that these values, ns1 ...ns5 wont be dependent on environment. Because if deploy the infopath in prod server will these prefix change. Is there way to control what values to be used as prefix.

    Thanks and Regards

Correct, the values are independent of environment.

You can specify them manually by saving the InfoPath form template as "source files" and hand-editing the manifest.xsf and *.xsd files. I don't recommend it though.
