    Offline submissions with Infopath

    Hi experts,

we have a excel application, business is using for data submissions. Once they connected to internet, through VBA we are posting data to database.

Now we would like to make use Infopath services for offline submissions as well as to target non-windows operating systems. We dont have sharepoint installed in our organization.

How can i achieve an infopath application for submissions once they get connected to internet?,

how does infopath know when to submit the data?

How Can i access web services for submitting data ?

How can i target apple OS business users?

Would really appreciate your help if you could provide me answer for my questions.

InfoPath Forms Services - the tool for browser-enabling InfoPath forms - is only available in SharePoint (MOSS) Enterprise.  You can't do this without SharePoint.

To use InfoPath full client, you can't do that either for non-Windows, because it requires each user to have InfoPath installed, which is an Office product requiring Windows.

Thanks alot for you response, we will target only Windows users in this aspect. Will explore more on this.

Appreciate if you share any online resources on this.

    Thank you once again.
