Client machines have InfoPath, but not .NET Framework Capability option

I've written an InfoPath app/form in VS2008.  Runs fine on my machine from SharePoint.  Generates an error message on the client machines, prompting user to turn on .NET Framework Capability for InfoPath.  (i.e., Add/Remove Programs > Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 > Change > InfoPath > (uncollapse InfoPath tree to find-->) .NET Framework Capability)

Problem: Client machines don't display anything under InfoPath--no .NET Framework Capability or anything else.  In fact there is no tree structure there.

I hate to say this, but I'm desperate.  I've installed Framework 3.5 on the clients, reinstalled Office, installed all Microsoft updates (Office, Framework, Windows, etc.), but nothing seems to work.  I've also posted to other InfoPath forums and to Microsoft themselves.  No one has been able to help.  It's either no response, or steps I've already taken.

Thanks for any help you can give.

    try this

    add/remove programs > microsoft office enterprise 2007 > change > infopath

click on infopath and click run all from my computer.

    see if that helps

Sorry, I've already done that and it didn't work.

    Thanks, though.

sorry it may sound childish, but which office suite is client using, might be that is causing the problem
