Compliments for the forum is beautyful and helpful.

I'm here for ask you an help to write code for a web services that allow me to update a fild in a sql table from infopath form services form in sharepoint, is the first time that i need a web services and i would to do this.

The form is very simple it composed of two fields (year,month) and referred to this field i need to update the table changing the field called Status from 0 to 1.

It's very simple, but for me write a code for this it's very difficult, i need a help.

I'm also considering to buy the dbxl solution but at the moment i can't giutify the investment.

Hi Daniele,

In order to accomplish this, you need to write code (i.e. create your own web service). This is time consuming and will only work with one form. Qdabra developed DBXL as a generic web service, which will allow this operation (and many more) for any form.

There has to be an investment of some sort on your part: whether you spend the time on coding this yourself, or hiring someone to code it for you, or purchasing something like the DBXL solution. Writing the code for a web service is not an easy task; keep your fingers crossed that a generous member of this community will volunteer his or her time to write this code for you.

when submit from infopath the web service that i've created, i receive this error:

But the table SalesReport exist and i reach this with no problem from other pc.

What is the problem?
