Accessing multiple columns from single list object

I have a form with a drop down list that contains items from "title" field in SharePoint list.

Among this SharePoint list is a column named "price" associated with that title.

So I have a "price" field on the form that I want to auto-populate when the drop down field is set.

    For example:

The SharePoint list has an item with a name of "Flashlight"  with a price of $15.00

On the form when user selects Flashlight from the dropdown I would like the price field to be set to 15.00.

I can't figure out a rule to create that would set this field from the list item.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks ahead of time.

you have to create a rule on the drop down, set the value of price field to price column and filter the column where titlle = dropdown value

Do I also need a condition on that rule?  It seems to just pull the first price from the list and not what is selected from the dropdown.

Yes, you will need to filter the column where titlle = dropdown value otherwise it will only ever return the first entry.
