InfoPath 2003 suppressing messages ADO, submitting to DB etc.

    Good afternoon.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to suppress the messages that come up when you open a InfoPath form that is connected to a Access database or when a form is submitted.

I have tried XDocument.DisplayAlerts = False, but it doesn't appear to work.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi:

When the form is submitted, if you are talking about the little dialog that tells you whether or not it submitted successfully, that can be set in your submit option. I know some warnings can be toggled with IE settings -- which ones are you seeing?

    Hi Hillary.

One message I would like to suppress is the message when the form loads stating: This website is using you identity to access a data source. If you trust this website, click OK to continue, otherwise click Cancel.

    Thank you,

You might want to make sure the site where the form is published is in your trusted sites in IE.

The message you mentioned said that a website was using a user's identity to access a data source? Do you have secondary data connections to web services or SharePoint that are set to populate on load?

Good afternoon. The InfoPath form is connected to an Access DB and a WebService database for EE information.

Here's an older post on a different board suggesting that making the form full trust will prevent these. Seems kind of a pain just to be rid of a dialog....

    Same with this post....

Thank you Hilary. I believe that should do the trick.

I will have to upload a nice picture like yours.

    Have a great day,
