Im instaling a Sharepoint 2007 with forms services so that internet authenticated users can submit a form to a forms library but im having a weird problem and some questions.

I publish the form directly to a form library and I can open it and save it, but if I click submit nothing happens....but save works fine....

tried to create a button....same problem, the library stays empty.

Strange thing is that I dont get any errors...

Is there any diference between submit and save? Im submiting to a sharepoint document library, and I dont think it can be simpler than that.

it seems you are doing something wrong, check the following

-) whether you have submit configured

-) what is the name you are giving to the form being submitted.

-) what document library you are submitting to and where you have published the template. might be you are looking in the wrong library,

I managed to fix it...in a weird way...at least for me..

I deleted the submit data connections of the template, saved it and created the connections again and it worked....

I know this sounds stupid, but I had 3 forms and I fixed them this way.

Maybe something in the XML didnt update as it should....

by the way, in your awnser you mention the name Im giving to the form....does this mater?

well abutes, if you are submitting the form to a sharepoint library then the form name does matter. by form name i mean the name given in the submit connection by which the form will be submitted to. That has to be unique to prevent overwriting of forms.
