    Copying the same Formulas into controls

    I have 200 controls on a form. The formula is basiclly the same for every control. How do I copy the same formula in all 200 controls. If I can this will allow me to go back and change one thing. On each control I'm just selecting from a secondary connection and the main connection....ie......

    @rpttoday contains Querydate  and

    @branch = ODAA

    It will take me 2 days if I have to do this for 200-300 controls. Please help.

    If you are feeling brave you can try to modify the manifest.xsf (save a copy of your form first, then save as source files and open manifest.xsf with a text editor). Calculated fields are here: xsf:calculations

    Hi Michael,

    If you are using Infopath 2007 then it has a custom tab under Control task Pane. Where you can create your own custom template part ( Just like user control in Asp).  Create your own custom template part ( This template part will contain your control and rules on it). Now replace all your 200 controls with that custom template part.

    Thanks,

    If you can get ahold of InfoPath 2010 CTP, then you can copy and paste your rules to each control with ease.
