Hi,
I'm working on a questionaire designed in InfoPath 2007. As per the requirements, as and when the user answers the questions (Yes/No), I have to populate some values in the corresponding text boxes next to the Yes/No field. To acheive this, i'm capturing the changed event of the Yes/No field and populating the value in the text box basis on the user selected (for example, if user selects Yes, populate the text box with some xyz else none)
When I look in preview, this works fine. When I publish the form to a location and upload the same in MOSS central admin, and then open the form from MOSS, the values in the text boxes are not populated instantly when I choose the Yes/No answers, rather they are populated when the data in the form is sent to server through some button click action(is says sending data to server and then populates all the text boxes with values). Is there anyway where in I can populate the data in the text boxes instantly without having it sent back to the server ?
Secondly, I'm using some hyperlinks in my form and mapped some images to the hyperlink text on the form (in other words instead of showing "click here", im showing an image by clicking which the linked URL opens). To do this, I first placed the Hyperlink on the form, saved it as source files, opened the .xsl file of the view, and replaced the "click here" text with an <img> tag with its src image pointing to one of the image which is added as a resource file to my form. I have set the border of the image as 0px. When I open the manifest.xsf, the images shows up fine in the form without border and also when I preview they appear fine. But when I publish the form to a location, upload to central admin in MOSS, and open the form in MOSS using forms services, the images are showing with border. How to avoid these borders ? any ideas please??
