Hi- I'm using IP2003 (Jscript) connected to an Access 2003 database. I would like after selecting a date in my date picker, for the month number to show in a (hidden) text box. Then I would like to use rules in that textbox ("if textbox1=1 then set the value of textbox2 to January", etc) that would set the value of another text box (unhidden) to show the proper month name.

Note: If the unhidden textbox could show the proper month name after the date is selected in the date picker (without using the hidden textbox), that would be even better.

I'm pretty sure I will need to do this via code. So, can some one please give me an example how the code looks like  and also where to place the code. Thanks in advance.   RhysAZ

Hi:

There is a post here that has an IP2003 form with some formulas for extracting date parts, no code needed. You can then add your other rule to set the field with the month name. If displaying month and year would be acceptable to you, you could simply use an expression box or text box bound to the same field as the date picker and change the format to Month, Year.
