So I have a form that is used by my consultants in the field to submit their Daily Reports. I have used a nearly identical form thus far but it has not been browser enabled. So I have been testing my updated version i na Sandbox Form Library I have setup. So far I really like the performance of Browser enabled forms, and in general, the freedom of loosing the requirement for having Infopath installed on a machine to use my forms. However, I think I have found a problem that will be a show stopper for me.
In the original form I had Rich Text Fields in the form that I have replaced with Text Fields since Browser based forms dont support RTF. However I found that when the text exceeds the overall size of the Text field, and the Browser form turns on the Scroll bars, you end up with truncation in email. Since browser forms don't allow the 'grow to fit' options on the Text Fields, is there a work around to this issue? It's not realistic for me to make a Text field 3 pages long just to ensure it can be seen in an email, surely there is a better way?
