    Two issues

    Hello,

I have two issues in infopath 2007 form I am creating, which is connected with database:

    1. Is it possible to populate static or dynamic (from other table) data (lets say: field1, field2, field3) already for user, it looks like this:

    field1(value11) ... field2(value12) ... field3(value13) ... field4 -(user has to chose/type)

    field1(value21) ... field2(value22) ... field3 (value23) ... field4-(user has to chose/type)

    field1(value31) ... field2(value32) ... field3(value33) ... field4-(user has to chose/type)

    field1(value41) ... field2(value42) ... field3(value43) ... field4-(user has to chose/type) ...

It is like static purchase order detail subform with static values except field4. I do not want user to use repeating table way.

    2. If I try to validate data from secondary source, it looks like it is not possible? Any additional step I need for that? I am not good in coding, I used just simple "is not equal to" "field2 in secondary source"

    Thanks in advance,

    Brano

Say you have one table and you do not want user to add rows, you want 20 rows with pre-populate values from same table.

And user have to fill one columns only, which is from same table but empty values..

Something like survey: You have questions (load from another table - table1) and want users to answer and send to table2.

If you change question (say add 5 new, delete other 3, that should automatically show in infopath form, pre-populated).

Access database has grid for that, I think, what about Infopath?
