Dynamically change amount of default rows in a repeating section

    Hello Everyone,

I am working on a project where I need to change default repeating section rows/items based on an option group. Basically, there are two option buttons. If the second one is chosen, I need to have have 2 items show for the repeating section. If the 1st option is chosen I can leave it as is and show one item for the section.

I should mention that I have tried using two seperate sections instead of a one repeating section and used rules and views to show/hide the 2nd section, but that approach has caused data validation errors. Some fields cannot be blank. If the 2nd view with two sections isnt shown it will still generate the cannot be blank validation errors when submitting. For this reason, I belive it needs to be in one repeating section with 1 or 2 items showing.

Thanks for any help in advance. Hopefully I explained this in a clear manner,

    Paulo

If your form doesn't have code, you could look at qRules:

Perhaps the Insert command will work in this situation...
