Deleted workflow still seems to be in effect?

Deleted workflow still seems to be in effect?

I have a workflow I have modified about 50 times according to the version history. I had modified it several times so that if a field matched certain names it would take X action. I have since deleted and re-added several times, and eventually deleted that condition for good. Thing is even though the condition in question has been deleted, the workflow doesn’t work sometimes when I enter those names into the field in question in my form, the field that the condition was previously associated with. I would rather not delete this workflow as it is a long and complex one, is there a way to refresh it? Any suggestions or ideas about the cause of the problem? I have deleted the condition in question and yet it appears to be causing problems…
