InfoPath Dev

The form contains a Master table and detail section. On Submission the master table details along with the details section fields must update itself onto a list.

I have tried the example  given in http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/matt/archive/2006/02/02/Add-SharePoint-List-Items-with-InfoPath.aspx

It works wonderfully, but that is with one record. How do I submit an entire form with the master-detail fields?

Funny you should ask that - we have a new version of qRules 2.0 coming out in a few weeks that lets you do repeating sections. If you would like a free copy, you can help us beta test the feature. Send e-mail to Support at Qdabra dot come to be placed on the qRules 2.0 beta tester list (still a few spots open). We are going to be pricing 2.0 at $199, so this is a good opportunity to lock in a free price for all future updates.

The other option is to use our InfoPath to SharePoint list tool. Please read Jo-Anne's blog for details: http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/jo-anne_alfafara/archive/2009/04/04/how-to-use-qdabra-s-infopath-to-sharepoint-list-tool.aspx. This tool is available for $145 today. The main limitation of the tool is that it's a batch tool that must be run manually. But, it does support repeating sections and it is much easier to configure than the steps in Matt's blog. If you purchase this tool and want to upgrade to qRules 2.0 (which will be dynamic on submit), we can apply the purchase price to qRules 2.0. Just let us know.

Finally, you could add code to your form to do this but it would take time and cost more than the two tools above.

I can confirm that Qdabra Support did receive your email. As Patrick points out, qRules 2.0 is not ready at the moment. Qdabra developers are still hard at work on the new features. You will receive email from us when it is ready.
