InfoPath Dev

I have an InfoPath form that contains up to 8 signatures. I would like to prevent people from signing the wrong section and throwing off my workflow rules by using InfoPath form roles. I can effectively hide a section by using the GUI controls for conditional formatting based on role membership, but the link to sign the section remains, thereby making it possible to sign anyway.

 Is there a clever way around this in the GUI, or in code? Can I capture the signing event and throw up a message box and undo the signature?

It turns out that if you put a signable section within a non-signable section, you can effectively hide this link.
