    Sharepoint Mapping Problem

I have created a form that i want to publish to a sharepoint document library. I have setup SQL mapping etc and that appears to be working but when i try to enter the URL of the sharepoint site (on the sharepoint tab) in DAT i get the following error...

"S0002: Caught exception ensuring Sharepoint form library https://<servername>. The remote name could not be resolved: '_vti_bin'"

I have the Qdabra webservice installed into the same IIS site as the main sharepoint one, using SSL on port 443. IIS is configured to use integrated and basic authentication. service account is a member of the relevant groups i.e. IIS_WPG etc...

what am i missing? i've read thru all the relevant documentation and tried just about everything?

    Thanks,

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Can you post a screenshot of DAT (showing the SharePoint tab settings you enter before getting this message)? Make sure that the screenshot includes the footer of DAT as well.

[Don't use the forum's quick reply. You'll see an Options tab where you can attach an image.]

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the screenshot.

For the SharePoint mapping URL, you'll need to add the name of the Form Library you wish to use. So instead of http://servername use http://servername/myformlibrary.

Can you try this and let me know the result?

    Hi,

No code, it's just a simple form.

    Hi, Matt:

Sorry, you can't see the flurry of internal email -- we are trying to get this tracked down and are conferring with one of our senior devs to see if we can get some more trouble shooting ideas on this. Can you check your Qdabra log in your event viewer and see if there are any errors there that might give us more information?

    Thanks!

    Re: Sharepoint Mapping Problem

Is the DBXL app pool account a member of the WSS_WPG group?

Is DBXL installed on the same server as the SharePoint site being submitted to?  (same server can use 'Object Model', remote server requires 'Web Service')
