 I´m trying to connect on an remote webservice that web server use basic http authentication and i´m receiving 401 error (unauthorized) when i try to send an request.

I inform the username and password but on the remote server i see the http header authentication field is empty.

Somebody know what hapen?

Well, we'll need more information here. Are you using a data connection? What is the data connection? Are you sure your username/password is correct? Can you go to the web site directly and try it? Are you using an InfoPath form or browser-enabled form? Lots of information needed.

Wel, let´s go to the information:

I´m using Data Connection to connect to an webservice (this webservices is provided by an HP Service Center 6.2 server)

I´m sure the username/password is correct because i´m using it to connect on the server and i´m sure it have the correct rights to connect via webservice.

I´m trying with both types (Infopath and Browser-Enabled).

Well i create an webservice (.Net webservice) like a wrapper to call lagarcy webservice from service center and i´m calling this "wrapper" from Infopath and it is working fine, but i wanna to connect legarcy webservice directly...

Can you help me?
