Is there any way that the infopath form templete of a library can to opened in the portal itself(not in browser)

     Hi,

Is there any way that the infopath form templete of a library can to opened in the portal itself(not in browser). When the user clicks on the "NEW" in the form library, the form should be opened in the portal itself, some thing like a web part. If the user wants to open the saved form and clicks on the name of the form to open the form, it should be opened in the portal.

Can anyone help me with this issue?

You can use a Page Viewer web part or the XMLFormView web part, but you wouldn't be clicking "new" from the regular library itself unless you edited that page to include one of these web parts.  It's still going to be opened in the browser, but the "browser" will be contained within a web part so as not to take up the entire browser.

     Hi,

I tried this but this is not what I required. When I closed the form the document library is opening. This is like, opening another portal in a portal.  Is there any way other that this?

Set the form not to close but rather to switch to a view that says, "Form Successfully Submitted!," and leave it at that view without closing.  If they refresh the page, it will show a new form.

Switching to another view is a good idea. But is there any way that we can dynamically give the link to this web part. What I'm actually trying to do is, I'm trying to implement a workflow. When the user clicks the link the saved form or the form to which the workflow has been assigned is to be opened in the portal. Is this possible?
