Hi, Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I set the display condition for one of my controls to hide it based on the value of another control.  This works fine, but in the table cell, when the control is hidden, the label is still there, eg. in "Name: __**text box**__", the text box disappears, but the text "name:" doesn't.  Is there anyway to change this so the label disappears too?  I know it's just text, not a separate field or anything, so maybe not.  Thanks in advance.

Sure, but you'll need to put it into some control that can be hidden.  You can put both controls in a table within a section and then hide the whole section instead of just the one field.

It might be kind of late to reply to this thread but you could hide your labels if you use Expression boxes (Infopath 2007) for all your labels. Then you could apply your conditional formatting rules to those labels in expression boxes
