    Very simple question

I need to write a very simple script but I'm having trouble even getting started. How to I refer to objects on my form in my code? I want to take a time value from one text box, round it to the nearest quarter hour, then put that rounded value into a different text box.

I can't figure out how to refer to these text boxes. I'm writing in VBScript on InfoPath 2003.

I'm looking at something like this to complete the rounding: Round(field1*96,0)/96

What would i put where field1 is? Or am I totally off the mark here?

You know, I'm not a VB guy, so maybe this isn't what you're looking for. But a couple things come to mind.

    1. Have you considered doing the calculation in the Formula field?
    2. Where is this data going? Could it be done on the receiving end?

I tried doing the calculation in the formula field but it seems as if infopath will not allow you to multiply dates. The form is simply being sent between users, information just has to be validated to avoid unnecessary work.

    Thanks
