    Clients without InfoPath installed

    Hi.

I need some group of people to fill out form prepared in InfoPath. The only problem is lack of installed InfoPath on their workstations. I need to find other way to collect filled forms from them. I have extracted procect files so I have xml, xsl, xsf, etc files.

Can you help me how can I use these files? There are two ways - web application in asp.net or sending form to fill in email in html format.

I will be very gratefull if you will prepare some kind of step-by-step little tutorial.

    I am begginer in InfoPath.

    Any other suggestion are welcome.

    Regards

    peter

Thanks for advice. But I still have problems, now with MOSS 2007 and Windows Sserver 2008.

In InfoPath there is a option to publish form on SharePoint which address should be typed in textbox but it does not work.

What kind of movements should I do to make MOSS and MS WS2008 work? I have downloaded trial versions of windows and moss and installed it on virtual machine. But now I do not know what I have to do next.

    Can you help me?

There's nothing specific about WS08 that relates to Forms.  If your SharePoint site is built, then you can publish the form to it.  You should be putting the URL to your SharePoint site where you want the form to be used.  What happens when you do this?

Since your people do not have InfoPath, which means they do not have Office, then you will need to use browser-enabled forms.  This requires MOSS Enterprise, and you need to configure Forms Services in Central Admin plus activate the Enterprise features on the site you're wanting to use.

What I think is unadvisable is that you are trying to build a solution without experience while using a trial version of enterprise software.  I do not think this is the best course of action.

I managed to publish InfoPath form on MOSS 2007. I see form in browser and I can fill it. But there appears another question: can any user save his data? There is only form in browser without any save or similar button.

There is a toolbar at the top and bottom with Save, Save As, Views, Print, etc.  Those are there by default, so if they are not there, then you turned them off.  Go to Tools > Form Options > Browser to check.

You probably want to build a custom submit button anyway:
