Hi all,

I have a field which which has lots of options displayed as radio buttons.  The radio buttons are a required field so the user has to select an option.

When the user selects most options the red border disappears because an option has been selected but this doesn't happen on three of the outcomes and I cannot figure out a reason why.  With any of these three options selected the red border remains and will not allow the form to be submitted despite an option being selected.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

I think you have added wrong validation to that three Radio buttons.

I have checked and double checked and the validation is the same for all the fields.

I have even tried to delete one of the affected radio buttons and have copied one that isn't affected and then change the value and it happens again!

It's driving me nuts!

Yes, for inexplicable behavior, it's usually something simple being overlooked due to looking at it too long.  Let us put some extra pairs of eyes on it to verify the error and ensure there are no simple oversights.
