    Error downloading templates

Hi, we manage a small web-based Infopath application. On some new Sony Vaio laptops running XP Media Center v5.1 SP2 we are getting this error msg "Form template: https://hmiprobationeforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/templatedownload/12a34ce-1117ac8aaf6--8000/YOT_Case_Assessment_Tool_v2.0.xsn
InfoPath cannot open the selected form because of a script error.
    The following error occurred:
    Error in loading DLL
    File:script.js
    Line:14"
Can anyone help us work out why this is happening? Other laptops and desktops work fine? Thanks, Kev

It would appear that is has some script code in the form and references a .dll file that is either missing on the laptops or they do not have permission to if it is located on the network. I would start by looking at the form code and getting the names of the dll files it references and then checking their intended locations. That should allow you to determine the issue and hopefully resolve.

    Hi kball68

    Couple of questions:

    1) Are you using SharePoint at all in this scenario?
    2) have you made done a compare of the software components (.net 1.1, .net 2.0) between machines that are working and not working? If the other computers that are working are not using media center there may be an issue with some components not installed by default that are installed by default in XP Pro.
