Integration Of Google Maps/Earth with InfoPath GEO Cordinates in a text box

I have developed a InfoPath 2007 Browser Enabled form and I want to allow the user to enter in Geo Cordinates and save the form. Then later some can open the form and find out exactly where that person lives through Google Maps/Earth based on the coordinates the user entered before. Any ideas. Thanks.

Perhaps create a hyperlink field in the form and set the default URL to a combination of the static portion of the Google Maps URL that uses coordinates and the fields in your form that have the coordinates.  Concatenate them together in the proper order so that the field will display the full URL for viewing those coordinates on Google Maps.  I haven't tried it, but it seems like that would be pretty easy.  Users could then click the URL, which would invoke another browser that goes straight to the location.  You can also make the URL field hidden until the coordinates are entered just to make it more user-friendly.

If you wanted to show the map inside InfoPath, then I would have no idea!

Can you point me to the Google site that uses coordinates and example of how to concatenate the URL and the 2 coordinates? This may work. Thanks.

It's not something I was familiar with previously.  I just know that whenever you  map something in Google Maps or other mapping sites, it generates a long URL that includes the search terms you used.  I figured you could dynamically generate this URL and make a hyperlink, but I hadn't done this exact thing before.  Anyway, I tested it, and it appears to work well, so take a look at the attached template.  I have a method for doing lat/long together in one field or as separate fields.

Your example was very good. I did the same thing in my application. How ever some over seas addresses are not in google. Also, Is it a way to get the Geo Coordinates from a address you enter in your form.

Oh, so you had already done that?  Were you asking for something else then, or did you just happen to do it on your own after making the thread?

If the address is not in Google, then I won't be able to derive the coordinates THROUGH Google - maybe through some other service or website, but I am not knowledgeable on any resources that are guaranteed to have every address in the world in their database (this would be required in order to also get the coordinates).
