InfoPath Dev

I used the Attach File control within one of my InfoPath 2007 forms.  This was converted to a web form and uploaded to a Share Point server that had the SP2 patches installed.  Part of the form is to create and send an email to the designated recipients via a submit button on the form.  The control works to attach the file in the form.  However, once the recipient recieves the email, the attach is not present.  It only has a box that states "File Attached".  Any ideas on how to get this to work?  I'm guessing that I could have the submit button only submit to the share point server and then create a worklow to send out a message after that with the attachment but I haven't gotten that far in my development and I would rather it send the email directly from the form.

 Any thoughts are appreciated!

I think this MIGHT be default behavior (i.e. the attachment is not included in the email), but I'm not 100% sure. Have you tried this without browser-enabling the form to see if the attachment is included in the email?

One alternative is to store the attachment in a separate library, and in the form include a link to the document's location.

I would do what Ernesto mentioned with the file reference to a doc in a library, which you can accomplish with qRules.  Hmm, this is something I can probably blog out soon.

Is there a instruction for this "problem" ?
