InfoPath Dev

I have a data source that is reading fields from a SQL database. When I insert a control from the datasource, the attribute field from the textbox control that I am adding is defaulted to simpleType, but in my database table the field is Decimal. I need to change the default control in Infopath from simpleType to Decimal. Please explain how I can do this.

Open the secondary data source xsd and change the type of that field.

I added a secondary data source but the fields don't allow me to change the type.

My Form template is based on a Microsoft SQL Server database, the fields and groups in data sources are based on data connections to external data sources; I cannot modify those.

 What swathip is suggesting is that you modify the XSD file in the template's source to change the data type, but why do you need the field to be a specific type?

I had two field in my <queryFields> that I'm using to sum values in some of my <dataFields>.

The fieldX in <dataFields> is using the formula (queryField_field01 / queryField_field02); fieldX is betweet 0 and 1.

 Where is this calculation being performed?  Is it in InfoPath or in SQL?  InfoPath doesn't really care what the schema type of a field is when performing arithmetic operations.  If it's SQL, can you give us some idea of what type of query you're using/what sort of SQL entity you're querying?
