I want to create a data source for a drop-down list. i have multiple drop-down lists that all have to have the same option. I want to arrange this centraly by means of data source.

Can anybody help me with this ?

What do you mean by 'i have multiple drop down lists that all have to have the same option'. Means for all combo lists have to be same value or any thing.

If your wish is to have the same value in all combo lists. Bind the data source to a drop down list, after that copy the drop down from UI and paste it where ever you want.

If it is not your wish please give indetail.

It sounds like you have many drop down selection boxes in your form that all should have the same options populated in them. Rather than typing them in manually you want to connect this to a data source.

If this data is static and not changing that often then the fastest and easiest way to do this is to make an xml resource file and add it to your form (Tools | Data Connections | Add). You can make the xml file in Access very quickly, works great.

You could also use a SharePoint list as a data connection int he form if you are using SharePoint and you need to constantly change the data in the drop downs.
